NHMGS is an organization of historical miniature gamers located in the Pacific Northwest.

Enfilade!, our flagship convention, is held once a year and is the only dedicated historical miniature gaming convention in the Pacific Northwest – but there are many other opportunities to enjoy larger than life gaming opportunities throughout the year.

Large groups in the region covered by NHMGS host events that provide the same camaraderie, big games, vendors, bring & buys, etc. but with a bit more intimate feel and their own regional flavor.

If you’ve never been to these events, you owe it to yourself to make the trip and give them a try.

AMBUSCADE! is an annual one-day historical miniature wargaming event held in early December in Portland, Oregon.  It currently consists of two sessions of fully-hosted games (all miniatures, terrain, and rules-knowledge provided by the world’s most wonderful game masters – players need only bring themselves and their own love of miniature gaming).

AMBUSCADE! seeks to provide the physical space, players, games, and opportunity for historical wargamers in Oregon to meet other area miniature gamers and build the greater Oregon wargaming community.
